{A Very} Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!

Hope you all had a fantastic day/weekend!

Alright moms, you totally get how hard family pictures can be sometimes, well today was no different…sun, wind, a 2 year old, a 3 year old, hungry bellies, Grandma’s toys awaiting attention, my husband’s back went out, yea, you get it! This was the best picture we could get today! :)

Our Easter Weekend this year was filled with an egg hunt at our church with neighbors and friends:

Surprises on Easter Morning before church :

Too much sugar:

A great lunch at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, and fun with Confetti Eggs!

I believe everyone except Grandma got ‘confetti egged’ this year; even their poor little cousin!

But the best part was when our evening took a much welcomed twist, as Big Brother accepted the best gift of all during his bedtime story. He initiated accepting the gift of salvation, that Jesus offered to us on the cross by dying for our ‘ickies’. He shared with us, ‘I know those ickies on Jesus were from me too; I want Him to clean my heart and for God to be in my heart!”

What a fantastic end to Easter day!

My cup runneth over!
