Crock-Pot Lasagna

This is one of our family’s favorites! Crock-Pot Lasagna is a great recipe to feed a small to medium sized group. This is a great meal to prepare ahead of time and then cook a few hours before dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1lb Ground Beef
  • 2 Italian Sausages
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 large Yellow Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 Spaghetti Sauce (1lb. 10oz. jar)
  • 1 box Lasagna Noodles
  • 10 oz Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1lb Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (shredded)

Directions

1. Brown the beef, onion, and garlic in a little olive oil in a frying pan. Drain off any grease. Add the spaghetti sauce to the meat mixture; mix together well.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, milk, and egg. Beat until throughly mixed and smooth. Then mix in the mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
3. Grease the sides and bottom of the crock-pot. Then layer the meat and sauce mixture, lasagna noodles, then the cheese mixture on top. Repeat layers; topping with meat sauce and a little parmesan or mozzarella cheese sprinkled on top.
4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the noodles are soft.
