DIY Pumpkin Pie Spice

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and pumpkin recipes are flooding the internet. Today I want to share a quick DIY for making your own Pumpkin Pie Spice.

This recipe is so helpful to have around when you are in the middle of baking and need just a little more Pumpkin Pie Spice to finish a recipe; as you most likely have all the ingredients already in your spice cabinet. It is also  a great way to save a few dollars! So be sure to save this recipe in your ‘Thanksgiving/Fall’ recipe box or on your Pinterest board for future use… you will be glad you did!

  • 2 tbsp. ground ginger
  • 3 tsp. ground allspice

1. Combine all the ingredients together; stir well. Store in an airtight container or an old/empty spice jar.

    • Well, Mel, I’m wondering, did you make something from pumpkin? Pumpkin pie, maybe, or pumpkin bread or muffins? I’m sure you’ll get something started “down under” because it’s a taste pretty much everyone loves!!!
