The Story of Easter

This board book is a wonderful way to introduce young hearts to the miraculous story of the first Easter. Sweet text and adorable illustrations will engage kids as they read along with parents and grandparents. A padded board book is a soft but durable selection for little ones, and kids will enjoy the “carry-me” handle as they take their book on-the-go. The small trim size makes this book a great package to place in a child’s Easter basket! (thomasnelson.com)

Little Brother has been asking us to read this to him every night since we received it. As a parent, I love that the easy-to-follow story of Jesus’ death and resurrection is in simple terms that provide our little one with a simple version of the Easter story. He loves the pictures and is always stopping us to ask questions about the great illustrations. (by Mackenzie of Cheerios and Lattes)

An Easter Prayer

Little ones learn they have much to thank God for when spring arrives—bunnies, flowers, and Easter eggs are fun, but the best of all is Jesus!

Preschoolers can’t help but notice all the new wonders of springtime, and An Easter Prayer emphasizes that God is the One to thank! Sweet rhymes and adorable art are perfect for young listeners, who will ask to read this colorful, die-cut board book even when spring is long past.  (thomasnelson.com)

Children’s Favorites- Bible Stories

A family treasure that will help children and families grow together in their faith and knowledge of the Bible. This book includes:

  • Almost 200 Bible stories!
  • International Children’s Bible® text
  • Prayer prompts, definitions of new and special words, and helpful introductions to the stories and books of the Bible
  • Meaningful and fun family activities
  • Quotes from giants of the faith such as John Wesley, Martin Luther, Charles Spurgeon, D. L. Moody, Billy Graham, and others

Give your child a foundation of faith, and encourage spiritual family interaction with this reverent and classically illustrated Bible storybook. Children’s Favorite Bible Stories will help children to know and understand Scripture, and grow in a personal faith in the Lord. (thomasnelson.com)

Upon receiving Children’s Favorites- Bible Stories Big Brother has called it ‘his own Bible.’ At three years of age, he was so excited to have a Bible that resembled Mommy and Daddy’s Bibles. It was larger than his toddler Bibles and other Bible story books he has. I loved that it was a great collection of his favorite Bible stories in easy-to-understand text from the International Children’s Bible®. The stories fell in the sequential order of the Bible and were complimented by beautiful illustrations that held Big Brother’s attention while I read a longer version of his favorite stories. (by Mackenzie of Cheerios and Lattes)
