Homemade Strawberry Vinagarette Dressing Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup of pureed strawberries
- 1/2 extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup of white wine vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon of minced garlic
- 2 dashes of Tabasco (this adds a subtle kick to the dressing; optional if you prefer not to have the kick)
Salad Ingredients:
- Fresh Spinach
- Gorgonzola Cheese
- Slivered Almonds
- Chicken Breasts (grilled)
- Homemade Strawberry Vinagarette Dressing
1. Toss the spinach, cheese (optional), and almonds together with a little Homemade Strawberry Vinagarette Dressing.
2. Top with grilled chicken and drizzle a little more Homemade Strawberry Vinagarette Dressing.
*Note: My husband loves Gorgonzola cheese and said it adds such a great salty aspect to the salad. I do not like Gorgonzola, but I found that seasoning the grilled chicken breast with a little seasoning salt can also add that same little bit of salty to such a fresh delcious, sweet salad.
