Lucky Charms Cereal Bars

When I hear the word ‘leprechaun’ the first image I see is the little leprechaun from Lucky Charms! Lucky Charms Cereal Bars were a favorite of mine to make for my students when I was teaching lower elementary. They were a quick, easy, fun treat that always got the kids thinking about their favorite kids cereal in a new way. The clovers, stars, hearts, moons, and stars began to take on a whole new meaning when we talked about that these ‘charms’ were what some people believed their ‘luck’ came from. It always sparked many interesting discussions and stories. So whether you believe in actual ‘lucky charms’ or you simply just love the cereal {raising my hand}, these are a fun treat to make for your child’s classroom, the neighbor kids, or your family this St. Patrick’s Day! Maybe they will bring a little luck your way too… you never know!? ;)
