In our family, as our boys get older, they like to play outdoors more and more. As of lately, Little Brother has a habit of picking up balls and letting them roll down the driveway and into the street. Big Brother can frequently see found on his balance bike riding up and down the sidewalk in front of our home. Our street is not a busy street, however, some of the cars go by pretty quickly for a residential street. Because of that, I was intrigued and excited about doing a review for Safees and sharing this great product with Cheerios and Lattes readers!

The first thing I noticed about Safees is their durability. They are made of a hard plastic that is full of prisms that are put together to allow for greatest reflection possible. The website explains in detail how the Safees are put together. My husband actually enjoyed reading through the information, he likes that kind of stuff. Our boys love their safees and like to wear them on their clothes, backpacks, bikes, and pretty much anywhere. Our oldest even makes sure that dad is wearing his. The one thing that we noticed was that they also have a tendency to reflect in the daylight as well.

Big Brother loved his Safees from the moment he opened the package. They came in fun shapes (dinosaur, car, telephone, etc) and colors. He wore them around the house for days and especially when he went outside, “Mom, I’ve got to be safe! My Safees will help all the cars see me!” He got the idea right away… he may have gone a little overboard in his precautions at times, but isn’t that a typical three year old!?
