A Week of Sun, Sand, and Smiles!
This week we are on a family vacation along with my parents in Aruba! My parents have had a time share here for years, and we began coming when I was in high school. A few years ago, I got to introduce my husband to this fantastic vacation spot, then Big Brother made his first visit to the island (just after his first birthday), and this year it was Little Brother’s turn to meet the island! We are also celebrating my Mom’s BIG 60th birthday (she’s going to be so glad I included the number) tomorrow, and our 7th anniversary Sunday! I can’t wait to share with you the no-bake Sand Castle cake we made for my mom next week! We’ve been enjoying it all week!
Yes, it is true, Aruba has had some not to great media coverage over the past few years. We followed it closely. However, we have never felt unsafe in any way. We have had some great memories together here and are adding to the list even now! We will be sad to leave, but I look forward to reconnecting with all of you next week!
