I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving week and a fantastic time with your families! Thank you all for your warm wishes and understanding as Saturday Show & Tell took a break last weekend so I could take a complete blogging break and enjoy the time with my family!

We had a great time at Moody Gardens Festival of Lights Media Weekend in Galveston, then later in the week we headed to Denver to visit family, and our boys were so excited to learn to ski for the first time!

I also celebrated my birthday and came home to a whirlwind of switching from Thanksgiving/Fall decorations to Christmas! I love the warmth of Christmas lights inside and outside and can’t wait to finish up some of our decorating this weekend. Did I mention I’m also in the midst of Christmas shopping, planning Little Brother’s Pirate Birthday Party, and refinishing our crib and changing table… crazy I know… why do I do this to myself at the ‘busiest time of the year’!? All that to say I have so many fun things on their way to the blog very soon; stay tuned!

Thank you to everyone who shared so many

fantastic ideas last week!

  11. Good morning, Mackenzie! Wow – looks like you have been busy! I remember when our middle son learned to ski, he loved it so much that when he got to high school he would skip his afternoon classes to go skiing. Of course, I didn’t know that at the time. Now that he is an adult he tells me these things! Hahaha! And he still got into a good college! Anyway, thanks for hosting! I am going to finish up my decorating this weekend also. I’m a bit late, but better late than never!
