Our Tragedy…

Dear Friends,
Some of you may have already heard, but I [Jeff] am not sure who has/hasn’t heard. We recently experienced a tragic loss in our family. Rather than trying to recap the experience here on this blog, I want share with you what we wrote on our family blog (which we were planning on launching May 7th). We are not sure when Mackenzie will resume blogging, but for now she is going to take a break. Thank you for understanding.
Jeff (Mr. Cheerios and Lattes) ;)

  3. I left a comment on your family blog, but I wanted to leave a comment for you Mackenzie. As a mom to two boys myself, this is the worst thing I think anyone can go through, the loss of a child. I know it’s superficial, and you are probably not ready to do much of anything now, but if you want to do some shopping in my shop, I would be happy to send you some free gifts, just my way of letting you know I am thinking about you. You can simply message me at Etsy with what you would like, when you are ready. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Mindiemay Again I am so sorry for your loss. Love Mindie May

  18. I simply cannot imagine… I am so sorry to learn of your loss.
At the same time, what a powerful testimony you have! To trust God even through this time of inexplicable loss shows the world such a powerful faith. As I read your story, I immediately thought of the Kelleys, a missionary family who lost their little daughter as well. I wanted to share this particular post from Aaron’s blog. I hope it is an encouragement for you.
