Saturday Show & Tell #14 & 1st Week of Summer

1st Week of Summer: We’ve Been Busy!

We have been enjoying ourselves way too much during our first full week of our Summer Break! It has been so nice to spend the week together; all four of us! Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to this week:

June is a month of many special days for our family and extended family! We have four birthdays, one anniversary, and Father’s Day. Next week we will be celebrating Big Brother’s birthday; I can’t believe we will have a 3 year old!

Looking for something fun to do with your toddler this weekend?!
Check out this collection of ideas from some very creative mommy bloggers!

From Last Week’s Saturday Show & Tell!

Chocolate Mom from My Chocolate Peaces shared directions on How to Make the Most Fantastic Bubble Wand! I am so excited to add this to our list of fun things to do together this Summer! What a great activity for a Summer evening! Thanks for sharing your great detailed directions Chocolate Mom!

Janine from True Aim Education creates an INCREDIBLE educational activity to create with your kiddos this Summer. They created their own Light Refraction: Light Box Magic! Several moms have been asking for great ways to keep their kids from falling into the “Summer Slide” in their education, activities like Janine’s are the KEY! Create/find fun experiences that will build educational memories your children can take back to school with them in the Fall!

Bekki from Chasing Supermom shares that she wanted to create a fun activity for her and her son to play together. Read about how she created a Dinosaur Adventure for her little guy. He grabbed his binoculars and the adventure began… So creative Bekki, I love playing with my little guys too. Thanks for sharing and making me smile!

Heather from Heather’s French Press shared this delicious looking recipe for Homemade Chocolate Grahams with us last week. I love that she used whole wheat flour and minimal sugar. She shares that you can dress these up for all types of desserts or eat them as a simple snack. Thanks Heather, my little guys will be thanking you soon too! :)

Ms. Liz at Fit Kids Club House shares how they created Giant 2-Liter Bubbles! The bubbles turn into what they call “bubble trains”. Through this activity she taught the children the word “Exhale”. What a great way to teach a new/challenging word!
