Saturday Show & Tell #33

This Week’s Saturday Show & Tell Sponsor:

The Child Training Bible

When I discovered the Child Training BibleI was so excited! It is the perfect tool for parents and children to refer to for dealing with issues of the heart. I loved that instead of referring to a Christian book for our behavior, it was directing us straight to the Bible itself! The Child Training Bible is actually a kit to turn your favorite version of the Bible into a reference tool for guiding your children’s (and your own) character towards that of God’s own character.

What’s New with The Cheerios and Lattes Family?

Last weekend we visited a local farm and pumpkin patch for the day. It was 92 degrees! Fall is tricky in TX, one day you think it’s cooling down, then the next day you are back in shorts with rosey-red cheeks! The boys had a blast and were able to feed all kinds of animals; I prefer to take pictures when it comes to feeding the animals! Big Brother is usually with me in that decision.  They’ve officially started building our house, and are actually pouring the cement tomorrow! Because we already live in the neighborhood, we get to watch the whole process daily! Big Brother is so excited and is constantly asking if it’s finished! Little Brother just wants to play in the dirt… :)  This weekend we are headed out of town to a baby shower for my sister-in-law and a visit to Sea World! Then next weekend, we are off on a VERY exciting adventure as our family gets the opportunity to review a GREAT Family Destination! Wahoo! We are SO excited! :) More hints next weekend as to where we are… :)

Thank you to everyone who shared so many

fantastic ideas last week!

  11. I would keep the book for myself to use with my two boys. We try to talk to our 3 yrs old, who had recently started tellng lies(passing the blame to someone else) that God is unhappy when he lies and that it is much better to tell the truth and be honest even if you did something wrong.
