One Wintry Night has been a very special book in our home this Christmas season! My husband and I have been reading this beautiful story with our oldest son (age 3.5) before bed. The story is segmented into short chapters and we typically read 1-2 chapters each night (read more…)

Merry Christmas!

Here’s to wishing you and your family a VERY Merry Christmas this next week as many of you will travel, spend time with your family, eat some delicious food, give and receive presents, and celebrate the birth of Jesus; the greatest present of all!

Last weekend we were able to celebrate Christmas a little early with my husband’s family. We had a great weekend together as we anxiously anticipated the arrival of a new member of the family; the healthy, sweet little man finally arrived just hours before Little Brother’s birthday!

bdayandsnow Little Brother turned 2, on the day we flew to Ohio to celebrate Christmas with my parents. We surprised the boys with a trip to Chuckie Cheese’s and then woke up to snow the next morning! Our boys have grown up in So. California and Texas so they were SO excited to play in the snow!

Thank you to everyone who shared so many
